Couples Counseling

Counseling is available for couples that are struggling with maintaining stability within their intimate relationship.  The goal of couples counseling is to work toward resolution of conflict, improve communication, and re-establish the foundation of their relationship.  Relationship dynamics that are currently affecting the quality of the relationship, the barriers to achieving intimacy are explored through both individual sessions for each partner and couples sessions that are co-facilitated by Christos Petsoulis, M.A.L.P. and Linda Petsoulis, M.A.L.P.  Couples will be encouraged to honestly reflect upon their individual role in relationship concerns, to communicate with and attend to their partner's concerns, and develop mutual relationship goals.  The goal for couple's counseling at the Duluth Institute is to encourage couples to consider core emotional and behavioral habits that support relationship success.
